Every time I’m grocery shopping on a hot day, I crave those natural fruit popsicles in the freezer section of our grocery store. Like, I cannot resist them.

Because there is nothing that sounds more refreshing and delicious when you’re hot and tired than a smooth, chilled fruit popsicle.

But I always have to remind myself, I can make easily make my own real fruit popsicles for a fraction of the cost of the store-bought ones.

  • Honey or Maple Syrup – You could leave the honey out of this recipe to make pure fruit popsicles but adding a bit of sweetening makes these popsicles pop!

Blend – Add the mango chunks and maple syrup or honey to the blender. Blend until smooth and there are no chunks left.

Pour – Divide the mango puree evenly between 10 popsicle molds. Put the lid on the molds and stick the popsicle sticks in each popsicle leaving about 1.5 inches of stick sticking out of the molds.

Freeze – Carefully place the molds in the freezer and let them harden for 4 to 8 hours.

Serve – Remove the popsicles immediately before eating them. Loosen the molds by running them under lukewarm water for 15 seconds or until the popsicles can slide out easily.

Store – Popsicles can be kept in the freezer inside the molds for up to 2 weeks.
